COLAGE
COLAGE is a national movement of children, youth, and adults with one or more lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and/or queer (LGBTQ) parent. COLAGE’s areas of focus include: youth empowerment, leadership development, education, and advocacy. Site includes booklists for children and teens with LGBTQ parents.

Family Equality Council
Family Equality Council provides support, education, and advocacy for LGBTQ-headed families. Site includes “The LGBTQ Family Friendly Children’s Booklist.”

Gay-themed Picture Books for Children
List for parents who would like to find books for their children about the experience of being a child in a gay family or having a gay friend or family member; librarians who would like to develop collections on this topic; and counselors and therapists who would like to use these books in their practices. Summaries included are either from the Library of Congress, Books in Print, or book catalogs. The list is annotated as books are reviewed.
